It’s so nice being an autumn leaf
even though the life is all too brief
I’ve spent so long being tied to a tree
but now it’s September and at last I’m free
Free to float where the wind may take me
free to sleep ’til the sun will wake me
free to live and free to dream
free to gently float downstream
