Patrick went back to the watchmaker’s shop
he wasn’t impressed with the service
he didn’t like to make a complaint
it made him feel a bit nervous
But he really felt that he had to
he’d only gone in last Sunday
they’d fitted a nice new battery
and it only lasted ‘til Monday
So he explained to the kindly watchmaker
that the battery he’d fitted was flat
and the watchmaker said “if it wasn’t
it wouldn’t fit in, would it Pat?”
