Zambezi flatdog


Beware of the dog, the sign reads
take heed and run a mile
'coz he's called Zambezi flatdog
or sometimes crocodile

I'm much too scared to feed him
so he's as hungry as an ox
I'd take him back to the river
but he won't go back in his box

I haven't been home for sixteen weeks
but no one's tried to break in
except the skeleton on the lawn
I've informed his next of kin

So if you'd like to see me
I'll meet you down in the park
he's only just over one foot tall
but his bite is far worse than his bark
