One day when I was in the woods, or was I at the zoo?
ah no, it was the game park that I was walking through
and Jean was walking with me, she knows the story too
no, I don't think Jean was with me, I think that it was Sue
or perhaps it wasn't either, I can't remember who
but I was walking through the park admiring the view
when I saw the strangest animals and I wondered what to do
there was three or four or five of them, or was there only two?
'What is this?' I wondered 'it's too big to be a shrew'
it was big enough to be a cow, but I didn't hear it moo
and it didn't hop so I don't think it was a kangaroo
it couldn't have been an eagle 'cause the eagles I've seen flew
