Why lemmings throw themselves to their death
Roddy was a rodent
a lemming actually
he lived up in the Arctic
not far from the sea
One day he said 'Enough of this
let's move to warmer shores
I hate it here, It's much too cold
it's rattling my jaws'
The other lemmings all agreed
'but which way do we go?'
'south of course' said Roddy
'that way, towards the glow'
So they all began to run
in a southerly direction
the lemmings never saw the cliff
they have a sight defection
