And so Midori told her story
to many other folk
she told the Mayor and his councillors
but they all thought it was just a joke

She told the people in the street
and the people in the shops
not one of them believed her
and eventually she stopped

She thought of getting out the area
and going somewhere safe
then she thought about her dragon
and the man in that gloomy place

They'd tried so hard to save the people
from this great disaster
she felt she couldn't let them down
and not do what he asked her
