But Midori had already made up her mind
she had to see what was inside
Ben couldn't persuade her otherwise
no matter how hard he tried

She kicked off her shoes and ran into the sea
and Ben wished she wasn't so daft
but soon Midori had climbed up the steps
and disappeared into the craft

Ben didn't quite know what to do
he found himself holding his breath
waiting for her to come out of the ship
almost scared him to death

When he'd been watching for a minute or two
which seemed like an hour to Ben
the situation took a turn for the worse
and Ben held his breath once again
