Never trust a man


Ben went into the furrier
with a beautiful girl on his arm
'show me your most expensive furs'
Ben said oozing with charm

The shop owner showed a beautiful mink
and quietly whispered to Ben
'this one is $20,000' he said
so Ben wrote him a cheque there and then

'Today is Saturday' the shop owner said
the check will have to be cleared
come in on Monday and collect the coat
and Ben said 'just as I feared'

On Monday when Ben went into the shop
the owner was really irate
'your account has no money in it' he said
'it really is in quite a state'

'I don't know how you have the nerve
to come in here causing more strife'
and Ben said 'I just came to thank you
for the best weekend of my life'
