Pennyland


The sun shines through the day
then the moon comes out to play
you really have to stay
and hear the band
Life is casual and free
sitting down there by the sea
there's nowhere I'd rather be
than Pennyland

The biggest flowers grow
the trees sway gently to and fro
and the stars put on a show
that's truly grand
The sky is always blue
you can see as far as Timbuktu
there's so much for you to do
in Pennyland

It's never rained there people say
and if you're feeling sad and grey
people come from far away
to lend a hand
It's the only place for me
and there's nowhere I'd rather be
there's so many things to see
in Pennyland
