The legend of Wilbur the fish
A fish called Wilbur in school one day
told his friends that he would fly
he said he'd leave the water
and soar into the sky
He swam up to the surface
as fast as he could go
and leapt into the air
about half an inch or so
The other fish just laughed at him
they thought him rather wierd
'birds can fly and fish can swim
and you're a fish' they jeered
Then one day Wilbur saw in the water
an elephant having a drink
and a crazy idea came into his head
and before he had time to think
He swam right into the elephant's trunk
and the elephant started to wheeze
it's ticklish having a fish up you're nose
and he gave an enormous sneeze
Wilbur shot out like a bullet
and sailed up into the blue
his friends all watched in amazement
as Wilbur's dream came true
He's a legend now, is Wilbur
'the fish who flew through the air'
but no one knows where he landed
and no one seems to care
